We are currently looking for a Clinical Reimbursement Specialist to join our team. The position would be responsible for obtaining and verifying insurances and reporting third party reimbursement and information to ensure coverage of insurance and payment.

Responsibilities

  1. Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of the job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
  2. Assures accurate and timely verification of reimbursement information to ensure coverage of insurance and payment
  3. Assists in designing, implementing and maintain a manual of insurance resource information in collaboration with the Manager of Referral Services
  4. Establishes and maintains positive working relationship and communication with external and internal groups
  5. Monitors quality and appropriateness of services and processes
  6. Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
  7. Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma/GED required; Associates degree preferred
  2. Must have prior experience working with managed care and workman’s compensation carriers
  3. Knowledge of third party reimbursement required
  4. Strong computer skills
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Business Office Environment within a fast paced department with phone and computer use
