    VNA Health Group is a premiere Medicare/Medicaid-certified provider of home health, hospice, and community-based services. We’ve been serving families and individuals with the most advanced, comprehensive clinical home care in NJ since 1912.


    We are currently looking for a Hospice Staff Nurse to join our team. This position would be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients with life threatening and life limiting illnesses and their families.


    Baylor RNs to work two (2) twelve (12) hour weekend shifts per week at manager’s discretion but essentially the shifts are (Sat & Sun-  8:30am-8:30pm with 2- 15 min breaks) .  Baylor RNs shall be paid for thirty (30) hours for twenty four (24) hours worked and shall receive the same benefits as RNs, pro-rated to a thirty (30) hour workweek.  Paid the 30 hours but are excepted to get your paper work and follow-ups completed within those hours 24-30hrs.

    2. Assesses and evaluates the needs of patients with life threatening and life limiting illnesses and their families and develops an appropriate plan of care
    3. Identifies teaching needs and plans appropriate strategies for individuals and families
    4. Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided
    5. Collaborates with patient and family, other members of the disciplinary team and other health care providers in providing patient and family care
    6. Documents all changes in patient’s condition and updates care plans and outcomes
    7. Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies
    8. Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
    9. Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position


    1. RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
    2. Certification in Hospice Palliative Care Nurse and Critical Care and Critical Care skills preferred
    3. 1+ year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse
    4. Excellent communication skills
    5. Strong Computer skills
    6. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

    Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors/outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; car and valid NJ Driver’s license
