We are currently looking for a FULL TIME Family Support Worker to join our team. This position would be responsible for providing home visits that incorporate education, family support, preparation for employment and/or schooling, and networking with community resources

Must have reliable car and be willing to travel within Essex County for role.  Must be available evenings and weekends as necessary.

2. Collaborates with Program Supervisor and families to establish a service case plan.
3. Develops and maintain ongoing relationships with families
4. Provides parenting support to promote healthy child development
5. Prepares and maintains records according to program guidelines
6. Cultivates a network with community agencies and resourcesthat may benefit families
7. Collaborates with program staff to achieve program goals
8. Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance.

1. High School diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred       
2. 1-2 years experience working  with infants and parents; experience working with culturally diverse population a plus
3. Knowledge of community resources
4. Strong computer and communication skills 
5. Ability to form strong relationships and work cooperatively with provider agencies
6. Bilingual french/creale strongly preferred
7. Must be available weekends/evenings if necessary
8. Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Works indoors/outdoors with client/customer contact and with use of business office machines such as: telephone, computer, printer, copier, fax machine, email, and voicemail
