Overview

VNA Health Group is a premiere Medicare/Medicaid-certified provider of home health, hospice, and community-based services. We’ve been serving families and individuals with the most advanced and comprehensive clinical home care in NJ since 1912. 

 

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to lead our Monmouth County Council for Young Children (CCYC) team. The position will be responsible for the facilitation of the (CCYC) which addresses the needs of families with regard to early care and education, social services and health programs in communities and schools in active partnership with a Parent Co-Chair and a Community Partner Co-Chair.

Responsibilities

  1. Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
  2. Provides program direction and facilitates the process to develop a plan for CCYC (County Council of Young Children) in collaboration with stakeholders and parents
  3. Ensures stakeholders and parent investment and participation in the CCYC program
  4. Monitors, evaluates and improves the effectiveness of CCYC program
  5. Ensures compliance with Department of Children and Families and the NJ Council for Children
  6. Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
  7. Integrates and oversees the Family Advocate( Monmouth) and School Readiness (Ocean).
  8. Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Qualifications

  1. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field
  2. Bilingual Spanish a plus
  3. Experience in outreach programs and coordinating community programs
  4. Experience working with children ,families and residents at the local level  
  5. Experience with Community Needs Assessment, Environmental Scan, Data collection and maintenance
  6. Knowledge of local resources and school districts
  7. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel
  8. Knowledge of Parent Leadership Training
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  10. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  11. Excellent interpersonal skills
