Community Health Center (CHC) is seeking a Marketing & Content Coordinator(Part Time - 24 Hours Weekly).     Marketing & Content Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the organization’s marketing and online presence through multiple marketing channels in partnership with the CHC leadership and Community Outreach teams. This is a hybrid position with both in-person and remote responsibilities.



Community Health Center (CHC) offers comprehensive, community based, preventive, primary care and wellness services for New Jersey residents of all ages at four convenient locations. CHC health care services are designed to meet the specific needs of the entire family – from annual check-ups and immunizations to sick visits, mental health counseling and critical prenatal care. 



  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal with co-workers up, down, and across the organization
  • Coordinates and assists in executing the creation of content for internal and external marketing communications to support VNACJ CHC goals, solicit donations, build brand awareness and enhance CHC patient experience
  • Writes original content for website, social media, marketing collateral, newsletters, and other internal/external communications
  • Ensures timely execution and production of all marketing programs & projects
  • Maintains VNACJ CHC’s digital brand presence and paid campaigns including Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Monitors and reports regularly on the agency’s social media accounts and website metrics and assists in developing and implementing strategies to increase engagement and improve search engine optimization
  • Supports executive leadership in marketing, community outreach, social media, and website initiatives
  • Maintains organization’s collateral and photo archives
  • Performs basic website maintenance and updates
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance


  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content development, and/or journalism
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign) and HTML
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of social management platforms and tools for optimization such as Hootsuite, SocialBro, Google Analytics etc.
  • Strong writing with storytelling skills with ability to participate in message development and implementation
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and eye for accuracy
  • Willingness and flexibility to monitor social media accounts during evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule
  • Strong organizational and follow through skills with ability to consistently carry out high-quality content deliverables
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with patients, community members, internal and external stakeholders
  • Occasional local travel and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
