The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will responsible for providing quality care and home health nursing care services under the direction of a Registered Nurse or an Advanced Practice Nurse.

Here’s how you’ll move healthcare forward in this role:

• Take part in a two-week clinical orientation to learn key procedures, the EMR system, compassionate care, and safety.
• Evaluates the needs of patients with life limiting illnesses and their families and provides nursing care services as directed by the Registered Nurse and as described in the interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Assists client to follow preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided.
• Establishes and maintains professional working relationship with health care providers and other members of the disciplinary teams in providing patient and family care.

The ideal qualifications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Homecare, include:

• Graduate of an NLN accredited LPN program with current FL LPN licensure  
• 1+ years of med/surg and acute care nursing experience
• 1-2  years of homecare and hospice experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Car and valid driver’s license
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed
• CPR Required
