Responsibilities

  • Support the Organization's Mission: Strive for excellence in all job aspects, emphasizing positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers.
  • Client Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate clients' physical therapy needs, and develop and implement an appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the physician.
  • Documentation: Record any changes in the client’s condition and update care plans and outcomes as necessary.
  • Counseling and Education: Identify clients' counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Service Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality and appropriateness of services provided to clients.
  • Infection Control and Safety: Follow agency infection control and safety policies.
  • Policy Adherence: Comply with the organization’s policies regarding absenteeism and appearance.
  • Flexible Duties: Perform additional duties as needed, provided they are similar, related, or a logical assignment for the position.

Qualifications

  • Physical Therapy Licensure in NJ required
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community based experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid NJ drivers license 

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors/outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine motor hand movement, use of phone and tablet for documentation
