We are currently looking for a WIC Program Generalist to join our team. This position would be responsible for providing support services to the WIC certification process and food delivery of food benefits to eligible participants.

1. Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
2. Delivers a high level of customer service to assure positive patient experience
3. Schedules WIC appointments
4. Obtains, verifies and documents participant information
5. Obtains anthropometric measurements and blood work for participants
6. Maintains inventory logs for blood work, blood work controls and cuvettes
7. Distributes WIC checks 
8. Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies
9. Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
10. Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

1. High school diploma/GED
2. Experience with culturally diverse population
3. Knowledge of basic computer skills
4. Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
5. Valid drivers license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Busy clinic environment at various locations in the community; ability to carry/lift 40 lbs; requires setting up tables and chairs; requires transporting supplies and equipment to WIC clinics; responsible for laptop and related equipment
