Manager, Special Child Health Services

Children & Family Health Institute (CFHI), VNA Health Group is seeking a Manager, Special Child Health Services.  This position will be resposnbile for responsible for planning and managing the services provided by the Special Child Health Services program

Responsibilities

    • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
    • Prepares and manages program grant proposals for SCHS and Monmouth County Freeholders to assure continued program funding
    • Implement and monitor policies, procedures, methods and strategies as proposed by State SCHS
    • Acts as a liaison between local, regional and state agencies serving children with special needs
    • Ensures compliance with SCHS unit criteria and grant requirements
    • Supervises staff in conjunction with the organization’s managerial/leadership practices

Qualifications

 

  • Social Worker with MSW
  • 3+ years of experience with pediatric case management for Children and Youth with Special Healthcare Needs.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoor with phone and computer use
