Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Hospice Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for generating business for our hospice program by developing and maintaining relationships with physicians, hospitals, healthcare facilities, and other community stakeholders. You will also work closely with internal teams to support and promote new programs and service lines within the hospice department.

 

Annual Salary: $80,000-$85,000

Responsibilities

  • Assists to develop strategic relationships and  partnerships with key health care and community leaders and physicians to develop new programming and generate new business
  • Acts as a primary contact for key strategic partners, facilities and other referral sources
  • Works with internal departments to generate ideas and develop joint strategies for new business and programming
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Participates in the creation of content value propositions, solutions, messaging, datasheets aimed at communicating the value of VNAHG’s services to healthcare customers
  • Monitors performance and evaluates the effectiveness of business development strategies
  • Analyzes data and prepares reports for business development activities and initiatives

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; nursing or social work degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience; hospice experience preferred
  • Car and valid NJ Drivers license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have outstanding presentation skills and ability to present to large groups of people
  • Experience and competency with use of computers, smart phones, Microsoft Office and clinical or sales software
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Working out in the field with heavy driving, phone and computer us
