We are seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President of Hospice Services to lead, optimize, and expand our hospice care offerings. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the SVP will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure our hospice operations align with the organization's strategic plan and business goals. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CNO and senior leadership to ensure hospice operations align with the organization’s overall business strategies. Lead initiatives that optimize and grow our hospice services.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive efficient and effective processes by analyzing data, implementing improvement strategies, and managing budgets to achieve financial and operational objectives for high-quality hospice services.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality and appropriateness of services provided by our multidisciplinary team to ensure an optimal patient experience and care quality. Our team assists, guides, and supports terminally ill patients to make the most of each day with dignity and comfort.
  • Staff Management: Manage staffing levels across the hospice interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate access and quality while adhering to staffing benchmarks for efficiency and productivity.
  • Mentorship and Relationship Building: Build strong relationships within the organization and provide mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:

  • Clinical Background as a Registered Nurse with BSN; Masters Degree preferred
  • Prior senior management experience with demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, empower and engage people to do their best of at least 5 years
  • Hospice Operations and Leadership knowledge and experience of 10 years
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead optimization, improvement and growth
