We are hiring a Registered Nurse to join our homecare team. This position will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in the Nutley section of Essex County.

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization’s mission by fostering positive relationships with coworkers.
  • Assess and evaluate patients with multiple health conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Document changes in patient conditions and update care plans and outcomes.
  • Identify teaching needs and plan strategies for patients and families.
  • Monitor the quality and appropriateness of services provided.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
  • Maintain the organization’s standards for attendance and professional appearance.

Qualifications

  • RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1+ year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Car and valid driver’s license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors and outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; Job characteristics: Client and Customer contact
