Front Desk Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at the Asbury Park Facility. The position would be responsible for providing coordination of the front office operations at the Community Health Center.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the welcoming face of the health center, offering excellent customer service by interacting with clients and staff in a friendly, professional manner
  • Create and maintain client files and medical records with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide vital administrative support to the professional staff and practice manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Manage financial transactions and front-office operations, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times
  • Ensure efficient appointment scheduling, telephone communication, and processing of paperwork for clients
  • Follow all organizational policies related to attendance, appearance, and confidentiality
  • Perform other related tasks as needed to support the overall mission of the health center

Qualifications

Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Prior medical office experience i.e. telephone, fax machines, copiers, appointment scheduling, medical billing, coding data entry a plus
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products
  • Car and valid driver’s license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Business office environment within a fast paced healthcare center with heavy customer service, data entry, phone, fax and computer use
