VNA Health Group is seeking a RN Clinical Director to lead and manage the clinical and financial operations of our Home Health department in the West Orange office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to make a direct impact on the quality of care we provide while overseeing a dynamic and compassionate team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Clinical Operations:
    Manage the overall clinical operations of the department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. You’ll oversee clinical performance, implementing strategies to improve services, optimize processes, and uphold our commitment to excellence.

  • Financial Oversight & Budget Management:
    Monitor the financial outcomes of the department, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and that we meet fiscal targets without compromising the quality of care. You will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage department budgets.

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    Ensure all clinical activities comply with federal and state regulations, corporate standards, and accreditation requirements. You will implement and enforce policies to ensure the highest levels of care and patient safety.

  • Strategic Growth & Networking:
    Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to increase the organization’s visibility and patient admissions in new and existing markets. Your network-building efforts will support the organization’s growth and community presence.

  • Team Development & Supervision:
    Lead, mentor, and support staff to help them achieve their full potential. You’ll cultivate a positive, collaborative environment where employees are empowered to deliver their best work. You’ll oversee performance evaluations, offer ongoing training, and ensure adherence to organizational practices.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    Monitor clinical performance and quality indicators, analyzing trends and implementing corrective actions as needed. Your focus will be on consistently improving clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; a Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
  • Experience:

    • At least 5 years of nursing experience in community health, hospice, or a related healthcare setting.
    • Minimum of 3 years of prior management or leadership experience in a clinical setting.
  • Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments and with external partners.
    • Proficient in the use of healthcare-related software and computer systems.
    • Thorough understanding of federal and state regulations, including healthcare policies and procedures.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
