At VNA Health Group, we are dedicated to providing compassionate home health, hospice, and community-based care throughout New Jersey.  We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support our Philanthropy/Foundation Department. This pivotal role offers high-level administrative support to senior leadership and plays a crucial part in advancing our fundraising and donor engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excellence and Teamwork: Foster positive relationships with team members and strive for excellence in all tasks.
  • Communication: Answer department phone calls, direct inquiries to appropriate staff, and follow up as needed.
  • Financial Support: Prepare donation deposits, collaborate on timely and accurate gift acknowledgements, and assist with financial reconciliation.
  • Administrative Duties: Provide comprehensive administrative support for day-to-day department operations.
  • Event Representation: Represent and support the department at special events, showcasing our mission and values.
  • Professionalism: Adhere to organizational policies related to attendance and professional appearance.
  • Versatility: Perform other duties as assigned to support the department's goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of related work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Business office setting with regular phone and computer use.
