Registered Nurse (Part-Time)

 

Schedule: This position follows a 4 day (approximately 8 hour/day) schedule for example Monday to Thursday.

 

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a weekly part-time basis. In this role, you’ll provide skilled nursing care to homecare patients in specific Bergen County communities.

 

This is a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful one-on-one care, build strong, trusting relationships with your patients, and play a central role in their case management. You will assess, plan, & evaluate care while working closely with an interdisciplinary team—all in a supportive and community-based setting.

 

Territory:
This position is community-specific and focused on the towns such as; Paramus, Fair Lawn, Englewood, Fort Lee, and Mahwah. Nurses will be scheduled within this defined area visiting multiple patients per day.

Responsibilities

  1. Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
  2. Assesses and evaluates the needs of patients with multiple disease processes and co morbidities and develops an appropriate plan of care
  3. Documents all changes in patient’s condition and updates care plans and outcomes
  4. Identifies teaching needs and plans appropriate strategies for individuals and families
  5. Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided
  6. Establishes and maintains professional working relationship with health care providers and other members of the disciplinary teams in providing patient and family care
  7. Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies
  8. Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
  9. Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Qualifications

  1. RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  2. 1+ year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Strong computer skills
  5. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  6. Car and valid driver’s license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors and outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; Job characteristics: Client and Customer contact

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $73,663.20 to USD $139,562.50. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
