The VNA Health Group is seeking a Full Time Home Health Aide to join our dedicated Hospice Team in Essex County.

• Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
• Provides personal care services as established in the plan of care
• Assists patients with mobilization and rehabilitation
• Communicates with patients and their families on a regular basis
• Submits completed required documentation as per agency policy and procedures
• Ensures compliance of agency infection control and safety policies as well as emergency procedures and their application
• Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

• Home Health Aide certification required
•  High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Car and a valid driver’s license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors with client/customer contact; use of specific equipment as braces, bedpan, crutches, electrical bed, hoyer lift, personal automobile, walker, wheelchair, household appliances, vacuum cleaner etc. must be able to lift fifty pounds (50 lbs.)

 

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $34,670 to USD $60,662.50. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
